Vehmeier enjoys walking her dog, water sports, and visiting her kids in Minneapolis. Jack is beginning his senior year at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and studies Computer Engineering. Her oldest son Colin is a recent graduate from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and works in St. She lives in Brookfield with her husband Tobin and dog, Ozzy. This year will mark her 18th year as a classroom teacher. Vehmeier is looking forward to teaching her second year of K4 at SJV. PERSONAL GOALS: To successfully collaborate with Mrs. Lyles-Schwarz enjoys reading, jogging, attending Brewer Games and Wave Games, baking, and spending time with her husband and children Ben and Olivia (both students at SJV). Lyles-Schwarz is excited to be given the opportunity to continue job-sharing with Mrs. Jaeger’s long term substitute when she was on maternity leave. In the spring of 2018, she served as Mrs. Lyles-Schwarz started substitute teaching in the Wauwatosa School District and at SJV. Prior to joining SJV, she taught 12 years as both a regular education and special education teacher and then took time off to raise her family. Lyles-Schwarz’s 3rd year teaching at SJV, and her 15 th year teaching overall. M.A.-Reading and Learning Disabilities-Cardinal Stritch University As a graduate of 17 years of Catholic education, she wants to create for her students the same caring, faith-based atmosphere that she experienced as a student in Catholic Schools.ī.A.-Education–Cardinal Stritch University She hopes to lovingly inspire and encourage students to always do their best while making learning fun and hands-on. She wants children to think of school as an extension of home, where they feel safe, secure, and valued. PERSONAL GOALS: To make every child feel loved and cared for while they are at school. Baby brother will join big brother Gavin, who will turn 2 in February. Kosterman and her husband will welcome their second child (another boy) in January of 2022. Kosterman enjoys vacations up north to Eagle River with her family and spending time with loved ones. She taught K5 for three years, K4 for two years, and is very excited to be expanding our K3 program this year! Mrs. Kosterman is looking forward to her 8th year teaching at SJV. PERSONAL GOALS: To foster a love of learning and creative, independent thinking in a faith-filled atmosphere while maintaining high academic standards, and inspire a positive, virtuous attitude that is rooted in the Gospel. His interests include family, culinary arts, coffee roasting & brewing, reading and competitive cycling. He has two amazing sons, both musicians, one a senior in high school and one a college freshman. Previously, he has been a K-12 school counselor and administrator with the Kenosha and Stoughton school districts. His faith grounds all that he does, and he celebrates the faith in action at SJV. He is honored and humbled to lead such an impressive staff and student body. Shimon has been blessed with 15 years in administration and 26 years as a professional educator.
